Cambovet Veterinary Clinic គ្លីនិកសត្វ ខេមបូវេត

Services

Veterinary care for your pets

From a consultation to surgery and overnight care, all of it in one building in Toul Kork, Phnom Penh, with the plan and the price explained before anything happens.

Consultations $5

A consultation is where every visit starts. We listen to what changed at home, examine your dog or cat from nose to tail, and tell you what we think before anything else happens.

What to expect

Bring any previous records or medicines. Questions are welcome, and you get a plain-language plan with the price of each step before it happens.

Surgery

Routine and soft-tissue surgery in our own operating room: spay and neuter, lump and tumour removal, wound repair. Every patient is under gas anesthesia with monitoring for the whole procedure.

What to expect

We will ask you to withhold food beforehand.

X-ray

Digital radiography in the clinic, read on the spot. Bones and joints, the chest, the abdomen, and swallowed objects.

What to expect

Pictures are usually taken within the same visit. Some patients need light sedation to keep still; we tell you first.

Ultrasound & echo

Ultrasound of the abdomen and echocardiography of the heart, without discomfort and without sedation for most patients.

What to expect

A small patch of fur may be clipped for contact.

In-house laboratory

Our own laboratory runs complete blood counts, blood chemistry for organ function, and microscopy of skin, ear and blood samples while you wait.

What to expect

Most results are back within the visit, so the plan is made the same day rather than after a second trip.

Dental cleaning

Scaling and polishing under anesthesia, with a check of every tooth and extraction where a tooth cannot be saved.

What to expect

Dental work is done under gas anesthesia, so it is a day visit with food withheld beforehand.

Skin & coat

Itching, hair loss, mange and ear problems, diagnosed with skin scrapes and microscopy rather than guessed at, then treated.

What to expect

Bring a note of any food or shampoo changes. A skin scrape is quick and done in the visit.

Inpatient care

When a patient needs fluids, monitoring or a few days of care, they stay with us in the ward.

Emergency care

Urgent cases are seen first during opening hours. Call ahead if you can so we are ready when you arrive.

What to expect

Come straight in. If you can, phone on the way so the room and the team are prepared.

Pharmacy & prevention

Prescription medicines, and parasite prevention against fleas, ticks and heartworm, dispensed in the clinic.

What to expect

Bring your pet's weight or let us weigh them, so the dose is right.
